One Last Sunday Night Cruise Night for 2015

MAACEventGuide2015

One last chance to show off your Truck all decked out in our Carlson Truck accessories.

Carlson Truck Outfitters proudly sponsors Sunday Cruise Nights in Winnipeg.  Bring your truck down to the Grant Park Shopping Centre, 400 Wilton Street, for an evening of fun and camaraderie with classic car and truck owners from all over.   Weather permitting, the show’s on every Sunday now through September 28th.

While all makes and models are welcome, club nights are ruling the summer, including back-to-back Fabulous 50′s Ford Club of Manitoba nights through the remainder of July (20th and 27th’).

So shine up your baby, and bring her down.  Grab some grub from our Co-Sponsors at Pony Corral Restaurant and Bar, and have a look at some fabulous cars.

While you’re there, you might bet some ideas for improvements for your own truck.  Whenever you’re looking for accessories to make your truck more beautiful and functional, remember Carlson Truck Outfitters, 155 Fennell St. in Winnipeg.

Of course we’ll be at the show, because we love your truck almost as much as you do!

What to Expect from Trucks in 2015

We’re looking forward to seeing firsthand the exciting things that are expected in the upcoming 2015 truck models.

Ford, which has among the bestselling truck models of all time, decided to show off of their upcoming Atlas concept. Very impressive indeed! It seems to have a couple of next generation features that are quite remarkable. Actually, this is in fact the general trend of most of all the upcoming truck models in 2015. All truck drivers and enthusiasts, brace yourself – you are in for a treat; you will see that the main concern in the upcoming models is on ways of saving on the cost of the consumption of fuel in the trucks.

The focus on the upcoming 2015 models of truck is on the need to provide a better and more efficient MPG. The most effective ways of implementing this is shedding of as much weight as possible in the body and aluminum is the ultimate answer. The increase in fuel economy will also be achieved by use of 8-Speed transmission as well as a few more improvements on the engine will be witnessed. This of course includes the improving of the EcoBoost technology and it is highly likely that there will be a substantial up-gradation of the efficiency of the turbochargers.

The Start/Stop technology also has a higher probability of being used. Mainly, it will also save on the fuel consumption of the engine, this illustrious innovation has an automatic mechanism of turning the engine off whenever it is idle and starting it up again the moment you step on the fuel pedal.

As you can see, there is a lot to be offer in this coming year. Happy Auto New Year!

Happy Holidays from Carlson Truck Outfitters

At this time of year, we traditionally see a lot of customers come through our doors (or at least their spouses do) in search of that perfect gift for the holiday season.

But the holidays are about much more than just exchanging gifts with loved ones – they are about that time that you rarely get to spend with family. It’s something we look forward to all year long; yet when we get to that long anticipated day, we come up with so many things that distract us – chores, hockey games and office parties.

Let us not forget the meaning of the season and the importance of being able to spend time with family. Take the time and truly enjoy this season.

All the best from the family at Carlson Truck Outfitters to your family this holiday season.
